David "Dave" M. Young Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David “Dave” M. Young, age 71, passed away at his home in Celina during the morning hours of July 16, 2022. He was born on October 27, 1950, in Celina to the late John & Wanda (Dock) Young. On September 16, 1972, Dave married Pamela (Maurer) Young, and she survives at their residence in Celina. He is also survived by his two sons, Bryan (Deb Morales) Young of San Francisco, California and Johnathan (Katy Pudenz) Young of Miamisburg, Ohio; sister, Karen (Ron) Heindel of Celina; in-laws, Robert (Rozann) Maurer of Mendon and Dale Snider of Mendon, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Wanda Young and his in-laws, Margaret “Peg” Snider and Jack Maurer. Dave was a 1969 graduate of Celina High School and then graduated with his associates degree from ITT in Dayton. He worked for 34 plus years at Minster Machine in Minster as a Machinist before his retirement. Dave enjoyed playing his guitar, playing in local bands and fishing. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held following the gathering at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Matt Overman officiating.
