Dan T Bruns

Dan T. Bruns, age 71, of Celina, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, July 26, 2025, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on October 19, 1953, in St. Marys, Ohio, to the late William Bruns and Rosemary (Youngs) Bruns. A 1971 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, Dan was self-employed throughout his life, primarily working in construction and house flipping—a craft he took great pride in.

Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Bruns of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Michelle (Chet) Clinehens of Maplewood, Ohio; a granddaughter, Callie Clinehens; and a stepson, Stephen (Melissa) Morgan of Celina, Ohio. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren, Mikayla (Morgan) Homan and Makenna Morgan. For many years, he shared his life and love with his long-time companion, Tawnnie Litteral, and their beloved dog, Shotzee.

Dan was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol (Morgan) Bruns, who passed away on February 19, 2006.

In addition to his parents and wife, Dan was preceded in death by two brothers, Dave Bruns and Doug Bruns.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the Bruns family.
