Dolores A. Robbins, age 96, of Celina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Celina Manor.
She was born on February 22, 1930, in Burkettsville, to the late Norbert and Frances (Westgerdes) Stammen. On September 3, 1951, she married Lloyd Robbins, who preceded her in death on December 1, 2000.
Dolores is survived by her loving son, David (Kimberly) Robbins of Celina; her cherished grandchildren, Stephanie (David) Moorman of Celina, Elizabeth (Jon) Yost of Celina, and Craig Robbins of Grove City, Ohio; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Holly, Michael, Lloryn, Miranda, Paisley, and Jonaton Jr.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elaine Robbins; and her siblings, Maurice (Joan) Stammen, Harold (Irene) Stammen, and Laura (Walter) Sudhoff.
Dolores attended St. Peter School and Fort Recovery High School before graduating from Celina High School. She dedicated 36 years of service to Reynolds and Reynolds, retiring in 1993.
A woman of deep faith, Dolores was a devoted and active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. She generously served as a Eucharistic minister to the homebound and faithfully contributed African violets and baked goods to the parish festival for many years.
Dolores will be remembered for her deep love of family and her many talents and hobbies. She enjoyed winemaking, quilting, and especially raising African violets, nurturing them from individual leaves in small cups to rows of vibrant, blooming plants in shades of pink, purple, and blue.
She took great joy in preparing holiday meals for her family, serving them with her finest china. Her pork chops and dressing bake were a family favorite, and her cookies and desserts were always eagerly anticipated. No one ever left her table hungry.
Above all, Dolores treasured her family, and her love for them will be remembered always. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Adam Berning officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the Mass. Graveside services will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Endowment Fund.
The caring staff of Cisco Funeral Homes of Celina and St. Marys is honored to serve Dolores’s family during this difficult time. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.ciscofuneralhome.com.
