Jacqueline L. Boatright, 69, of St. Marys, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born on October 8, 1956, in St. Marys to the late Lawrence and Helen (Benanzer) Glynn. On March 27, 1976, she married Jackie Boatright at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, and he survives at their residence.
In addition to her husband, Jacqueline is survived by her children, Bryan J. (Dustin McClelland) Boatright of Alliance and Angel M. (Benjamin) Clevenger of St. Marys; her sister, Rebecca Crouse of Chicago; her grandson, D. Alexander Clevenger; and her step-grandchildren, Cheyanne Clevenger of Florida and Ciera Clevenger of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Vicki Roth of Columbus Grove, Kathleen Bauers of Celina, Marjorie Garwood of Celina, and Regina Kallenbarger of Celina; and brothers-in-law, Gerald Bauers of Celina, Terry Garwood of Celina, Jerome Kallenbarger of Celina, Joe Kreb, Chicago, and Ray Roth, Columbus Grove.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Patrick (Nancy) Glynn and Michael Glynn; two brothers-in-law, Virgil P. (Geraldine) Boatright, and Charles D. Boatright; and two nephews.
Jacqueline was a 1975 graduate of Memorial High School in St. Marys. In 2004, she earned her CDL Class A license with a Hazmat endorsement from Roadmaster Drivers School in Columbus, Ohio.
She demonstrated a strong work ethic throughout her life. She worked at the St. Marys Cotton Mill from 1975 to 1980, then at Buckeye Apparel, Inc. in Coldwater as a seamstress from 1980 to 1997. She also worked as a cashier at Jerry’s Food Center in St. Marys from 1993 to 1995. From 1995 to 2004, she was employed by AVI Food Systems in Sidney as a vending attendant, servicing locations including Dannon Yogurt in Minster and Cooper Farms in St. Henry. From 2004 to 2010, she proudly served as an owner/operator of Boatright Transport. In 2011, she continued her dedication to others through her work with Auglaize Industries, supporting community employment.
Jacqueline was deeply involved in her community. From 1973 to 1974, she was a committee member who helped form the St. Marys Girls Softball League, where she also managed and coached the St. Marys Hobby Center team. She later served as a Den Mother for Webelos Scouts in Cub Scout Pack 165 in Celina from 1988 to 1991.
She found great joy in motorcycling with her family and was a longtime member of the Steel Heritage Riding Group since 1999 and the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) since 2000. Jacqueline also enjoyed sewing—especially projects for her riding group—traveling, working around the house, and, most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She also dearly loved her family pet, Loki Jo, who served as both a beloved companion and service dog.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys and also attended First Baptist Church in Celina.
