Lillian “Lilli” M. Hausfeld, age 46, of Celina, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Celina.
She was born on September 17, 1980, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Michael and Maureen (McKirnan) Hausfeld, who both survive in Celina.
Lilli is also survived by her sister, Margo (Jeremy) Sharp of Loveland, Ohio, and their son, Lucas Sharp.
She is also survived by her aunt, Jane (Lee) Riesen of Celina, and her children, Dak (Miranda) Helentjaris of Volente, Texas, Julie (Ron) Smith of Monroe, Ohio, and Lucy (Nick) Bachman of Lebanon, Ohio; her aunt, Sue (the late Frank) McKirnan of Celina, and their children, Miranda McKirnan of Denver, Colorado, and Chelsea (Kevin) Quinn of Fort Thomas, Kentucky; her aunt, June (the late Ray) Opp of Union City, Indiana, and their son, Brian Witt of Austin, Texas; and her uncle, Keith (Cherie) Hausfeld of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and their children, Amber Mai, Drew Hausfeld, and Sara Doherty.
Lilli was a 1998 graduate of Dublin Coffman High School in Dublin, Ohio. She continued her education at The Ohio State University, graduating in 2002 with a degree in Fine Arts. She also attended the American Institute of Massage Therapy in Columbus, Ohio, and was a licensed Level IV Reiki Master.
Lilli was a talented and passionate artist who had a remarkable ability to see the world through a different lens. She found beauty in the simplest things and loved sharing that beauty with others through her artwork. Her creativity knew no boundaries, whether she was painting, creating mixed-media art, or designing unique pieces of jewelry. She was involved with the Lake Area Art Groups (LAAG) and Art Place of St. Marys, was an active volunteer at local art shows, and enjoyed sharing her talents by helping teach art workshops throughout Mercer County.
In addition to her artistic talents, Lilli was a gifted pianist with a deep appreciation for music. She had a wonderfully eccentric personality that shined through in her artwork, her taste in music, and the way she expressed herself. Lilli was truly one of a kind, someone who embraced individuality and saw the world in colors and possibilities that others might overlook. Her creative spirit, unique outlook on life, and the beauty she brought into the world will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, Ohio. A memorial service celebrating Lilli's life will begin at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Bob Sweeney officiating.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercer Health Medical Group Mental Wellness in Lilli's memory.
Cisco Funeral Homes of Celina and St. Marys are honored to care for Lilli and her family.
