Melinda A. Hunter, age 58, of Celina, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 24, 2026, at her home. She was born on January 30, 1968, in St. Marys to Ron and Margaret (Eschenbrenner) Hunter, who survive in St. Marys.

She is also survived by her life partner, Dave Garrison of Celina; her children, Tom (Treva) Goubeau of Celina, Tasha (Rick) Fontanini of Coldwater, and Tylor (Sam) Goubeau of St. Marys; her siblings, Scott (Sarah) Hunter of St. Marys, Melissa (Mike) Sudman of St. Marys, and Jim (Kerry) Hunter of Celina; and her cherished grandchildren, James, Shawna, Riley, Paisley, Davian, Lily, Destiny, and Chloe.

Melinda was a 1986 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School in St. Marys. She had a caring and compassionate spirit and dedicated much of her time to helping others, especially the elderly. She enjoyed sewing, volunteering within her community, and spending time with those she loved. Above all, Melinda treasured her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great joy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
