Michelle V. Hines, 74, of Celina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born on June 27, 1952, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, to the late Walter Keel and June (Schnelle) Weitz.
Michelle is survived by her loving children, Chris (Kevin Nordhaus) Trogdlon of St. Marys, Tina Neves of Celina, and Shane (Deb) Houts of Celina. She also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren: Codi, Josh, Justin, Shayla, Shaun, Skyler, and Sage; fifteen beloved great-grandchildren; her sister, Wendy "Jody" (Brad) Kelley of Spencerville; and her brother-in-law, Reg Rieger of St. Marys.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Keel; her mother and stepfather, June and Norval Weitz; and her sisters, Janet (George) Parker and Patricia Rieger.
Michelle was a graduate of Celina High School. Throughout her life, she worked in a variety of occupations before retiring. Her greatest joy was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved fur babies, Izzy, Popeye, Brutis, and Wimpy.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the Hines family at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina, where Michelle will be laid to rest beside her mother.
