Patricia A. Miessen, age 59, of Celina, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Mercer Health in Coldwater.
She was born on March 14, 1967, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Don and Jean (Crow) Emrick. On May 18, 2010, she married Jeffery L. Miessen, who survives in Celina.
In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by her children, Nathan Keiser of Elizabethton, Tennessee, Heather Sutter of Celina, Kyle (Amy) Keiser of Elizabethton, Tennessee, Jami (Adam) Cornelius of Indianapolis, Indiana, Amber Ledbetter of Texas, and Kayla (Josh) Young of Indianapolis, Indiana; twelve beloved grandchildren, Natalie and Morgan Keiser, Noah, Emma, Ava Sutter, Grace, Celeste, Calleigh Keiser, Tiyler, Payton, Ruby, and Colton Young; and her siblings, Rebecca (Jeff) Albritton, Keith (Pat) Hall, and Sherry (Toby) Miller, all of Greenville.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Miessen; and her brother, Rick Hall.
Patricia was employed as a porter at Mercer Health in Coldwater. She was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Celina.
Patricia had a deep love for horses and was a devoted fan of the television series Little House on the Prairie. Her passion for the show led to lifelong friendships with several cast members, including actress Alison Arngrim, who portrayed Nellie Oleson. She enjoyed attending cast reunions and events, meeting nearly all of the show's actors, and dressing in period clothing inspired by the series.
Above all, Patricia cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crocheting and was an active member of the Sisters In Stitches quilting group. In her free time, she loved spending time boating on Grand Lake.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Celina.
