St. Marys
Robin Sollman, age 67, of St. Marys, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 5:07 p.m. at CareCore at Heritage in Minster.
Robin was born on March 7, 1959, in Wapakoneta, Ohio, to the late Willis and Shirley (Sweigart) Sollman.
She was a 1977 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and continued her education at The Ohio State University and Wright State University's Lake Campus.
Robin dedicated much of her life to serving and caring for others. She retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, where she worked in the laboratory department. She also proudly served her community as a licensed Emergency Medical Technician with the St. Marys Emergency Squad and as a volunteer firefighter with the St. Marys City Fire Department.
Most recently, Robin worked at the St. Marys Community Public Library, where she developed many special friendships. Her coworkers became much more than colleagues; they were like family to her, and she treasured the time they spent together.
Robin had a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats. They were truly her pride and joy and brought her endless companionship and happiness. Her love for animals extended beyond her own pets, as she frequently cared for the beloved pets of many families in the community.
Robin will be remembered for her caring heart, her dedication to her community, and the kindness she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the Sollman family.
Robin will be laid to rest at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Marys Community Public Library or to an animal shelter of the donor's choice, honoring Robin's love for reading, her community, and the animals that brought her so much joy.
