Stephanie Nicole Piper Craft, age 52, of St. Marys, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Stephanie was born on September 17, 1974, in St. Marys, Ohio, to James and Carol Piper of Celina. On November 9, 2024, she was united in marriage to Martin Craft, who survives at their home in St. Marys.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her & Marty’s children, Mitchell Clausing & Riley Clausing of St Marys; Shawn Craft & his son Brodin, of Celina; Austin & Rachel Craft & their son Denton, of St. Marys & Tabitha (Chris Knapke) Craft & her children Declan, Calumn & Lumen of St. Marys. She is also survived by her brother Owen (Bart) & Whitney Piper & their children Kobe, Kinley & Kali of Celina. Also surviving are her in-laws, Kenneth Craft of St. Marys; Patricia & Lynn Persinger of St. Marys; Tamar & Keith Young of Celina; Vince & Mary Craft of St. Marys & Kelly & Hobin Stout of Lake Charles, Louisiana, as well as a large extended family. She is also survived by the father of her children and former husband, Dan Clausing, of St. Marys.
She was preceded in death by grandparents Dana & Mary Piper; Russell & Minnie Jones & sister-in-law Michaela Morgan.
She graduated from Celina Senior High School, Class of 1993 and ITT Technical Institute in 1994. She was a dedicated employee with 30+ years of service at Moran Refrigeration, Inc., where she called her co-workers her 2nd family & customers became friends.
Stephanie was a member of New Community Church in St. Marys, where she faithfully served as treasurer for three years. She deeply loved her church family and renewed her baptism at New Community Church. Stephanie was also a life member of the Celina VFW Post 5713.
Stephanie enjoyed traveling, a good joke & always loved a cold beer & a ride on the back of Marty’s HD.
Above all, she loved spending time with her family, as well as her best friends Kris Sudman, Cari Calabrese & Erica Weaks.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Cisco Funeral Home, 1175 E. Greenville Road, St. Marys, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at New Community Church in St. Marys, with Rev. Robert Sweeney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
