Teresa A. Gonzalez

Teresa A. Gonzalez, age 76, of Celina, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at Mercer Health in Coldwater. She was born on June 16, 1949, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to the late Raul and Teresa Reyas.

On July 18, 1998, she married Eric Gonzalez, who survives at their residence in Celina.

Teresa is also survived by her children, John (Irma) Febus of Colorado, Alen (Kim) Febus of Buffalo Gap, Texas, Teresa Febus of Dallas, Texas, and Jennifer (Joe) Fohn of Richardson, Texas; stepbrothers, Kyle W. (Cathy) Gonzalez of Madisonville, Tennessee, and Chad W. (Rebecca) Gonzalez of Berea, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Teresa graduated from high school in Puerto Rico. She was first and foremost a devoted homemaker who found great joy in caring for her family. Throughout the years, she also held several part-time jobs in the Mercer County area, where she was known for her warm personality and strong work ethic. Above all, Teresa’s greatest pride was her family, and she dedicated her life to creating a loving and welcoming home.

In her free time, Teresa enjoyed watching TV, boating, fishing, dancing, playing cards—especially euchre—and spending time with friends. She also loved traveling and taking memorable trips with Eric to places like Peru, Las Vegas, Florida, Niagara Falls, and Branson, Missouri. Wherever she went, Teresa brought laughter, love, and light to everyone around her.

Friends and family may visit from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina. A funeral service celebrating Teresa’s life will follow at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Jason King officiating.
