Thelma Pauline Wurster, of Celina, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Trustwell Living at Miller Place in Celina.

She was born on June 9, 1932, in Celina, to the late Francis Q. and Mary L. (Kindell) Wade.

On August 18, 1952, Pauline married Charles Wayne Wurster, and together they shared more than 53 years of marriage before his passing on April 7, 2006.

Pauline is survived by her sisters, Amy Williams and Betty (Dilworth) Perry, both of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A 1950 graduate of Celina High School, Pauline continued her education at Miami Valley Nursing School in Dayton, where she prepared for a lifelong career devoted to caring for others. She worked as a registered nurse before retiring in 2008. Throughout her nursing career, Pauline touched the lives of many through her compassion, dedication, and commitment to helping those in her care.

Outside of her career, Pauline enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid bird watcher and found great enjoyment in observing and appreciating nature. She also enjoyed participating in curling.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to EverHeart Hospice in Coldwater.
