Timothy “Tim” Ray Anderson, age 65, of Celina, was found deceased on August 18, 2026, in Celina.
He was born June 9, 1961, to the late E. Andy and Mary (Shaffner) Anderson.
Tim is survived by his children, Megan Anderson and Tim Anderson, both of Indiana; six grandchildren; and his siblings, Bill (Pam) Anderson of Sidney, Sharon K. (Ed) Fiely of St. Henry, Vicki Lynn (Manuel) Luna of Seattle, Washington, Steve (Lisa) Anderson of Pennville, Indiana, Bruce Anderson of Springfield, Richard “Rick” Anderson of Celina, and Larry Anderson of Arizona. He is also survived by extended family members and many friends.
Tim was a 1979 graduate of Celina High School and worked various jobs throughout his life.
Tim had a special love for animals, especially his German Shepherds. He enjoyed rock music, with AC/DC among his favorites, and had a particular appreciation for Ford Mustangs. He also loved spending time outdoors and enjoying the beauty and peace that nature had to offer.
His love of the outdoors was something he shared with his children. He taught them to fish at an early age, creating cherished memories that they will carry with them. Tim and his daughter also enjoyed going for ice cream and taking evening walks together—simple moments that became treasured memories.
Whether he was listening to his favorite music, spending time with his dogs, fishing, or exploring the outdoors, Tim found happiness in the simple things in life. Above all, he will be remembered by his family for the memories they shared and the moments that made his life special.
The Anderson family invites family and friends to join them on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Shelter Houses 7 and 8 on Lakeshore Drive in Celina to celebrate Tim’s life. Those attending are welcome to bring their favorite dish to share as everyone gathers to remember Tim, share stories, and celebrate the good times they shared with him.
The caring staff of Cisco Funeral Homes of Celina and St. Marys is honored to care for Tim and his family during this difficult time. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.ciscofuneralhome.com or on the Cisco Funeral Homes Facebook page.
