Victoria Reyes

Victoria Reyes, age 72, of Celina, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater. She was born on February 26, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late Victor Reyes and Angelita Helen (Garcia) Rodriguez.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Kelly M. Lyme of Celina and Erin E. Taylor of Greensboro, North Carolina; nine cherished grandchildren; siblings, Tolentino Rodriguez, Coldwater, Juan (Hgech) Rodriguez, Kansas, Robert (Esponneza) Rodriguez, Texas, Aurora (Robert) Garza, Hicksville, Ohio and Vanessa Wallace, Celina; and many nieces, and nephews who will miss her deeply.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mercedes E. Ballard; and her siblings, Ynosencio (Ernie) Rodriguez and Simon Rodriguez; a brother-in-law, Alberto Cervantes; and two sisters-in-law, Maria “Helen” Rodriguez and Ignacia “Nacha” Rodriguez.

Victoria lived a full and hardworking life, retiring after holding a variety of jobs throughout the years. She was known for her generous spirit, her love of family, and her unwavering faith. She especially enjoyed baking, working on crossword puzzles, and cheering for her beloved Dallas Cowboys and Michigan Wolverines. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family and friends, creating memories that will be forever cherished.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
